About Us

CORINTHIAN BOOKSCorinthian Books was founded on May 5, 1998 (Cinco de Mayo!) by Richard N. Côte, an award-winning, internationally known American writer. Corinthian publishes finely written and beautifully designed hardcover, softcover, and ebooks in a wide range of genres. They including history, biography, social history, psychology, espionage, contemporary events, the right-to-die movement, and contemporary novels. Its books are available in hardcover, softcover, and eBook download formats for all ebook readers and tablets.

The company was named in honor of the ancient Roman imperial city of Corinth, Greece, which was founded about 50 B.C.E. and within a century was five times the size of Athens. It quickly became a significant center of literature, learning, commerce, and architecture. Our logo is a stylized version of the capital of the most elaborate of the three orders of Roman architectural columns: Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. It is easily identified by its iconic use of stylized acanthus leaves.
